'Early Bird' registration for ODOT/ACEC Ohio Partnering Conference ends Tuesday, May 3

Next Tuesday, May 3, is the deadline to get the "Early Bird" registration rate for the annual ODOT/ACEC Ohio Partnering Conference, to be held Tuesday, June 7, in Columbus.

This year's conference features morning general sessions that will examine recent changes in ODOT's Consultant Evaluation System and its DBE/EDGE program.  Afternoon breakout sessions will focus on ODOT's expanded consultant construction inspection program, the department's Local Public Agency program, and how advances in technology are likely to affect highway construction and design.

A special morning session is planned for new ODOT and consultant project managers (those with less than five years of experience).  Participants will be asked to complete a DISC (Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, Conscientious) self-assessment survey prior to the conference.  During the session, the results of the survey will be explained and participants will take part in interactive exercises to gain a better understanding of the results.

Advance registration is required and attendance will be limited to the first 400 registrants.  Registration closes Friday, May 20. No "walk-in" on-site registration will be available the day of the conference.
