New in 2013 - All UID classes will be held at the JW Marriott Indianapolis Hotel, ideally located near Lucas Oil Field, Monument Circle and downtown Indianapolis. It is located 14 miles from the new Indianapolis International Airport.

Room Reservations - The JW Marriott Indianapolis Hotel offers UID participants a special daily room rate of  $159 single or double (plus appropriate taxes). To receive the special hotel rate please identify yourself with the University of Industrial Distribution (UID) when making your reservation.

Sleeping rooms in Indianapolis during March are limited, so please be sure to make your reservations as soon as possible. Each UID registrant is responsible for making their own hotel reservations directly with the hotel to receive these special rates. Reservations made after February 15, 2013 will be at the hotel’s discretion regarding availability and rate

Local Transportation 

There is a shuttle service available from Indianapolis International Airport to the JW Marriott for $7 each way.

Discounted self-parking at the hotel is available for UID attendees at the rate of $20 per day. 

The JW Marriot also recommends these alternative forms of transportaion:

  • Carey Limo Shared Ride; fee: 16 USD (one way) ;reservation required
  • Bus service, fee: 7 USD  (one way)
  • Subway service, fee:  0 USD  (one way)
  • Estimated taxi fare: 35 USD  (one way)

Participation in each four-day UID program earns 30 hours (3 CEU credits) towards the Purdue University Certificate in Industrial Distribution, provided at no additional cost upon the completion of 90 hours (9 CEUs) of qualified educational instruction.
