Brian Otte

As Director of Sales for ProfitStars (a Jack Henry Company) Solutions, Brian is charged with implementing and executing the sales plan and strategy associated with numerous solutions geared towards the Financial Services industry including hosted/managed services, network security services and financial performance suites.  He has spoken at a number of industry events and has authored several industry papers centered on network security, business continuity and information technology best practices.

Prior to joining the Jack Henry family, Brian held leadership positions within Oracle (VP of Sales Latin America) and Perimeter eSecurity (SVP of Corporate Development), where he participated in a successful sale of a managed security services company.  He also played a key role as EVP and co-founder of Guarded Networks, Inc. (later merged with Perimeter) which was entirely focused on the financial space and was one of the “early entrants” to the managed network security industry.  Early in his career, Brian served as a senior technical consultant with Arthur Andersen’s Technology Risk Consulting (“TRC”) practice.  As a senior consultant and IT Auditor, Brian assumed an active role in identifying and obtaining new projects within the financial industry vertical as well as managing clients in the Caribbean market.

In addition, to his professional achievements, Brian has a BS in both Accounting and Management of Information Systems (“MIS”) and holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.  He resides in Tampa, FL with his patient and beautiful wife, Julie, and is blessed with three amazing kids: Caitlin (14), Bella (11), and Lukas (7).
