Julie Esser Bio

As Director of New Alliances for CUNA Strategic Services, Julie is responsible for directing the entire development process from conception to implementation of new strategic alliance relationships.  CUNA Strategic Services, Inc. provides credit unions with access to high quality products, services and technologies delivered with a competitive advantage made possible through volume pricing and strategic program development.

 In addition to her role, Julie was recently named to serve as a staff liaison for BITS.  CUNA takes part in BITS' committees and working groups related to fraud, regulation, security, and other issues. CUNA, which is the only trade group that is a BITS member, has created a BITS Task Force made up of credit union professionals to coordinate CUNA’s involvement with BITS to identify governmental policy issues and pursue positive outcomes related to the use of technology with a credit union’s operations.

 Julie has over 25 years’ experience in the credit union industry and with CUNA and has extensive experience in the areas product management, marketing, product development and project management.
