ICBA Slated to Testify Next Week on Regulatory Burden

 
ICBA is scheduled to testify next week before a House subcommittee on how to relieve community banks from excessive regulatory burden.

Sam Vallandingham, president and CEO of The First State Bank in Barboursville, W.Va., will represent ICBA at the hearing. The association will discuss several proposals to reduce government regulation and overreach to promote economic growth.

The House Financial Services Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit hearing is scheduled for 2 p.m. (Eastern time) this Tuesday.
