1st National Bank Enriches Technology Capabilities through Partnership with CSI

PADUCAH, Ky., July 16, 2014 — In an effort to better deliver on growing customer expectations for more innovative products and services, Berlin, Wisconsin-based 1st National Bank has selected Computer Services, Inc. (CSI) (OTCQX: CSVI), a provider of end-to-end technology solutions that empower financial institutions to remain competitive, compliant and profitable, to implement its NuPoint® core solution, as well as such additional products as managed services and mobile banking.

While CSI’s renowned solution offerings played a significant role in the bank’s decision to work with the core provider, 1st National Bank executives point to CSI’s focus on customer support, as well as its reputation as an attentive business partner, as key motivators behind their decision.

“Aside from our need to implement a core platform that could satisfy the growing needs of our institution, we wanted to work with a technology provider that will treat us like a partner rather than just another number,” said Tom Jensen, president and chief executive officer of 1st National Bank. “Reflecting the same core values and business strategy as 1st National Bank, CSI was the clear choice to provide us with the technology and guidance necessary to maintain upward momentum, and they have already gone above and beyond as a true business partner to ensure we reach our evolving business goals.”

CSI’s NuPoint solution is a cloud-based, flexible core banking platform that’s capable of supporting multiple fully integrated solutions. By leveraging CSI’s infrastructure, resources and expert guidance, 1st National Bank hopes to reduce hardware and software costs associated with core bank processing, while capitalizing on the technology’s automated functionality to enhance reporting and other traditionally manual processes. The efficiencies gained through the platform have allowed the bank to enhance its focus on client-focused initiatives.

“We strive to deliver competitive products and exceptional service to our existing clients—and attract new account holders—using the latest technology and increased efficiency,” Jensen said. “Working with CSI gives us access to both user-friendly solutions and a strategic partner that will allow us to accomplish just that.”

In combination with its implementation of NuPoint, 1st National Bank has selected several additional CSI products to address the specific needs of its extensive business banking clientele, including managed services for outsourced technology initiatives that will allow the bank to take a more strategic approach to its IT infrastructure. In addition, the bank will now leverage CSI’sInternet Banking as well as its Mobile Banking platform to deliver innovative banking technology that offers immediate, anywhere access to real-time account balances, payment options and other robust capabilities.

“At CSI, we consistently strive to position ourselves as a valuable business partner for customers like 1st National Bank in order to reflect our commitment to meeting the unique technology and support needs of each institution we serve,” said Steve Powless, chief executive officer of CSI. “As we move forward with 1st National Bank, our latest banking partner, we remain dedicated to providing the same superior level of innovation and expert guidance, so we can help the institution easily achieve both its current and future goals.”
