Write to Congress
One of the biggest ways that you can make a difference in the lives of Ohio children and youth is to actively participate and contact your local legislators. Every year, the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate vote on proposed bills that directly effect your daily living. A simple phone call or letter to your representative to let them know of your concern or to bring an issue to their attention is one of the most effective ways for Ohioans to make an impact on their future and the future of their state.
Below are links to both the Ohio House of Representatives and the Ohio Senate. If you are unfamiliar with your legislators, or how to contact them, please simply enter in your zip code to find the legislators who serve your area. Each website includes the names, addresses, phone numbers and often email addresses of the legislators from around Ohio.
As a bereavement counselor, Bobby’s Books has become my most utilized resource. I share this with other clinicians on a regular basis. Thank you for the work that you continue to do to get this resource out and into the community and most importantly into the minds and hearts of those that benefit from the healing.
