Teacher/Helper Lunch with Lana

Are we reaching out to children as Jesus did?  I have been told by many people that they learn so much about the    Bible, Bible stories, and children by teaching a Sunday School Class or a Children's Church Class.  Our Sunday  morning ministries are staffed by parents and members who serve as Servant Teachers and Servant Helpers.  Since taking this new position as Children’s Ministry Director, I have been praying for people who are being called to serve with our children here at Bethel International UMC.  If you feel in any way called, I will try to help you as much as possible such as with curriculum and classroom supplies that will be provided for you.

You will find registration forms for Volunteer Servants and for students on the Children's Ministry Table near the Nursery in the Family Life Center.  Please feel free to call me, fill out a form or e-mail me with your interest in  Teaching/Helping during our Sunday morning ministries.

Please consider yourself invited to come to a “Teacher/Helper Lunch with Lana” at the church on August 25th at 12:15 p.m.  I would love to get to know you, fellowship with you, hear your stories, and learn more about you.

It would be great to have children from Bethel International UMC telling, serving, learning and giving in their community.  This type of faith in God could be passed on by the loving and teaching going on during our Sunday morning ministries.

In Ministry With You,

Lana Turner

Children's Ministry Director
