Pastor Miran Lee
Grace Korean Pastor
Pastor Miran has been in campus ministry to the OSU international student population since 2000, serving as the Pastor of Grace Korean United Methodist Church. She previously served as a youth pastor for two years at Trinity UMC in Arcanum, OH. She attended United Theological Seminary in Dayton from 1998 to 2000 (with Pastor Mike) and transferred to the Methodist Theological School in Ohio in Delaware, where she graduated in 2002 with a Masters of Divinity Degree. She was ordained a United Methodist elder in 2005.
Pastor Miran came to New York City from Korea to further her education in 1972 after she got a BS degree in Home Economics from Yon-Sei University in Seoul. After five years in New York she moved to Los Angeles and had her own floral business for seven years. She married Pastor Ken in 1991 and the two of them have enjoyed serving God together. Pastor Miran has two sons, Chuck, who is married to Jiyeon with a granddaughter Aami (and another granddaughter on the way), and John, who is married to Kelli and a grandson Nathan.
Pastor Miran served as President of the Korean UMC National Campus Ministry from 2006-2008 and for two years as the study leader at the UMW Mission School for Koreans.
