Registration for CSCA 2016 is now open!

Registration is now open for the 2016 CSCA Convention in Grand Rapids, MI. To register for this year’s convention, please CLICK HERE.

As the program draft illustrates, even if you are not presenting at this year’s conference you will definitely want to attend. CSCA Vice President Shawn Wahl and his talented team of planners really delivered on the “Foundation” theme, putting together many top-notch panels featuring excellent scholarship, teaching enhancement, and career-building opportunities. Check out the program draft now if you haven’t already, 2016 Convention Program, and make plans to travel to Grand Rapids today!

Some notes about this year’s registration form and conference events:

• Notice that you will need to mark on the registration form if you want to attend some of the special events. Space is limited and first-come-first-served, so be sure to mark your choices so you can attend!
  
  
• You will also notice the return of two options on this year’s form that allow you to give back to the association. One allows you to say “thank you” to the student workers who help to keep the conference on track by paying to sponsor a portion of a student’s registration fees. Another allows life and patron members to donate back the cost of their meal for the awards luncheon. Please consider these options if your budget allows!
  
  
• We are running two preconference courses this year, one on Wednesday afternoon (“Creating Courses Around a ‘Central’ Idea”) and another on Wednesday night (“Creating Beer Culture”). If you are interested in the craft beer preconference, which includes a tour of local breweries, be sure to register early. Space is extremely limited, and based on last year’s fast sell-out and rave reviews we expect this educational preconference course to fill up fast!
  
  
• Life and Patron members: Please remember that your registration fee is included in your membership dues. You do need to register so your convention materials will be ready. Please do not enter a complimentary code on the first page of the form. Rather, continue to the next screen where you will select the registration level associated with your member level.

But hurry – these early rates are only good through March 15. After that time, prices will increase and no refunds will be allowed.

If you have never been to Grand Rapids, get ready for a dynamic and interesting city. The conference hotel this year is especially beautiful – half of it looks like something you would see in an old episode of Dynasty, the other half like something from the latest episodes of Empire. I cannot wait to see you there enjoying that beautiful space, celebrating the big events, and being inspired by the brilliant ideas.
