Subject: Central States Media Studies Interest Group is Proud to Announce Its New Blog!
I am proud to announce that our quest to create a web presence has begun with a new blog! It is our hope that we can share information about the interest group; opportunities for studies, publications, or grants; or other valuable information with members. To check out the new blog, just go to http://cscamsig.blogspot.com/ . And thanks to Adam Tyma for helping to get this established!
Also, don't forget to submit your best work to the Media Studies Interest Group for the upcoming conference in St. Louis. Christine Beck has paved the way for some excellent opportunities at the next CSCA conference, and we don't want any of you to miss out. For more information about the conference, visit the Central States Communication Association website at http://www.csca-net.org -- and to see our call for papers, check out the new blog.
Of course, let me know if I can be of any help, too. As I stated at our group meeting in Madison, I want this year of programming to be one of our best -- if not the best -- ever. I look forward to hearing your ideas!
Sincerely,
Jimmie Manning
