CSCA - Media Studies IG - Reminder - 2013 Call for Papers
Dear Media Studies Interest Group,
I hope your semester is off to a great start! I want to remind you that there is only about a month left to complete your submissions to CSCA (the deadline is October 5). If you need help solidifying your ideas for panels, please drop me an email at email@example.com and I will do my best to help. If you have ideas for co-sponsored programs, please let me know about those as well. The full call is available here: http://www.csca-net.org/aws/CSCA/pt/sp/callforpapers_media
If you are submitting original media, please be aware that the deadline to contact me concerning your submission is September 15. I haven’t seen any original media submissions yet, so please encourage your students to submit their original media projects.
As the conference gets closer, we want to stay in touch with you. If you use Twitter, please follow us @cscamsig. If you use Facebook, we have a group there too: https://www.facebook.com/groups/173834883666/.
Also, if you are interested in reviewing, chairing, or responding to our division, and you have not already signed up at the business meeting or via this form (or if you cannot remember if you signed up), please take a minute to fill this form out. Your service to our division is appreciated, and more reviewers means lighter work for everyone.
I look forward to receiving your submissions and seeing you in Kansas City in April. If you have any questions, please contact me.
