CSCA - 2013 Conference Reminders - Adjunct and Temporary Faculty Caucus

Greetings!  This is just a quick reminder to all Adjunct and Temporary Faculty Caucus members that the deadline for submissions is fast approaching – October 5th. The theme this year is Communicating the Possible, so there are endless possibilities for our Caucus to cover. ;)  Some ideas in the past have been: How to use ancillary materials in classroom, Pros and cons of teaching at satellite campuses, Teaching philosophies with scholar respondents, Online Instruction, or a Short course on online teaching.  I encourage you to think of ideas that we could develop and co-sponsor with another caucus or interest group.  Also, if you have ideas and want to gather additional ideas and support for your potential panel, I encourage you to reach out a call to the caucus. Send your call for a particular panel idea/concept to our Facebook Group https://www.facebook.com/groups/235228136492751 and see what happens.  We have a lot of outstanding members that could collaborate to create fantastic sessions at this year’s CSCA Conference.  If you were elected as an Adjunct and Temporary Faculty Caucus Officer last year and you haven’t heard from me, please e-mail me.  If you are interested in reviewing, chairing, or responding to a panel, please let me know!  I know that I will need volunteers in a few short weeks, so send me your info and your willingness!  I look forward to another CSCA conference this year.  I hope to see you all there! :D
