What about those Vikings? Calm and steady and hardworking and understated – oh yeah! I can always tell I have to start working on CSCA items when football season rolls around; sometimes I am more upbeat than others.
Well – first order of business – GET THOSE SUBMISSIONS IN! This conference is going to be amazing and I LOVE the theme or program planner has selected. Second -- CSCA annual election is upon us.
What does that mean for you? Well…only one thing…you MUST vote! It is very important that you vote for one of our candidates. It only takes a few minutes, is done electronically, and as a member of CSCA it is important that you choose your representatives and decision makers.
Who is running for office? Well, I just knew you would ask that question so we have put together a Special Candidate Newsletter for your reading pleasure with all of our candidate pictures and statements. Please make sure to vote for 2nd Vice President of CSCA and Member at Large. Voting is open from October 1 thru October 29th. If you are a CSCA member you may vote—go to the CSCA website under the Members Tab.
If you are not a member, it is not too late to join CSCA and vote! Individuals joining in October will be credited for their 2013 Membership.
Many times elections are determined by just a few votes, so call, email, text, IM your colleagues and encourage them to vote! Don’t just say you belong to CSCA – be involved in CSCA by joining and voting for your Executive Committee members – they run YOUR organization!
