Well – the 2013 Conference in Kansas City, Missouri is going to be very exciting indeed! We are looking forward to hearing great ideas, participating in many very cool and unique activities, and as usual, and opportunities for mingling with old and new friends! There is a reason why our members consider CSCA their “home” organization – we are a team in furthering each other’s careers, friendships, and genuinely care about each other! Conferences are such a good place to get energized, meet up with friends, develop networking, renew enthusiasm in research and teaching, and be part of an organization that is built upon friendship, scholarship, and opportunities.
With that in mind, let me direct your attention to some important dates that all members need to be aware of.
1) Voting for CSCA’s slate of candidates is taking place now! The voting period runs until Monday, October 29th at 11:59 pm. The link to cast your ballot is placed on the Members Only page of the CSCA website. You will simply login to the Members Only page of the website, click on the ballot, select the candidate(s) of your choice, and submit the ballot.
Note: You MUST be a current member to vote; register and establish your user name and password before access to the Members Only page. Follow the prompts under the Members Only tab labeled “Register”. We encourage you to participate in this election as our officers represent you! To obtain additional information about the candidates, please read the special candidate newsletter posted on the CSCA Website (under the Members Only tab).
2) Finally, the October 2012 Newsletter includes information on the CSCA 2013 conference.
