CSCA 2013 Convention - Media Studies Interest Group Reminders

I hope that you will make time to attend some of MSIG’s panels this year. We will have a special program honoring Samuel Becker, Distinguished Professor Emeritus at the University of Iowa, who passed away in November 2012. The session will be on Friday, April 5 at 4-5:15 PM. Several of his former colleagues and students will be sharing memories and reflecting on his contributions to the discipline and our interest group. I hope you can attend – and if you wish, wear a “bow tie for Becker.”


Our Top Papers panel will be held on Saturday April 6 at 9:30 AM, with the MSIG business meeting immediately after.
