LAMBDA PI ETA INTEREST GROUP
Eastern Communication Association
100th Annual Convention
April 22-April 26, 2009
Sheraton Society Hill, Philadelphia, PA
The Lambda Pi Eta Interest Group is requesting paper submissions for the 100th annual convention of the Eastern Communication Association. Papers that relate to the theme for this convention, Defining Moments: A Century of Communication, are especially encouraged. This theme invites members to explore the scholars, events, and areas of scholarship that have defined the communication discipline. The 2009 convention will include Centennial Scholar programming, short courses, poster sessions, roundtables, and traditional panel formats. Please visit http://www.ecasite.org/ for more information about the conference. All submitted papers must be authored exclusively by undergraduate students; membership in an active chapter of Lambda Pi Eta is not necessary for participation in this paper competition.
Completed papers must be submitted as an email attachment (hard copies will NOT be accepted) by October 15, 2008 to the 2009 Interest Group Planners:
Andrew Jared Critchfield ajc@gwu.edu, (202) 994-1874 and Stacey Wieland Stacey.wieland@villanova.edu, (610) 519-4895.
