Assistant Professor, Communication Studies, Tenure Track

The Communication Studies Program of Dominican College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position for Fall 2014. We are especially interested in the candidate who is focused on developing as a teacher and scholar at a small, undergraduate college that emphasizes close student-faculty interaction.

Requirements:

A completed Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Communication Studies or a related field is strongly preferred, but the exceptional ABD candidate may also be considered. The successful candidate will be able to teach a variety of courses, including freshman-level public speaking. A strong background/specialization in digital technology, new media, and/or production (including web development) is required. Experience teaching online, hybrid, and web-assisted courses is also required.
