Associate or Full Professor — Communication, Film & Media Studies

The Department of Communication, Film and Media Studies at the University of New Haven invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of associate or full professor beginning Fall 2015. The department seeks experienced candidates with expertise in some combination of the following areas: digital media convergence, social media analytics, and new and emerging approaches to connecting organizations to their publics. We seek a dynamic and committed teacher/professional who can expand students’ understanding of a creative economy, evolving media industries and media economics. Experience with data visualization, programming, mobile and emerging platforms or video production is a plus.
Applicants should have evidence of excellence in teaching, a record of scholarly or professional accomplishment and a commitment to experiential education. Review of applications to begin February 18, 2015 and continue until the position is filled.
