Duties: The Department of Communication and Media at the State University of New York at New Paltz invites applications for a temp/renewable lecturer position beginning in Fall 2013.

The lecturer will assume a teaching load of 30 credits, or the equivalent of five courses each semester. Courses may include intercultural communication, interpersonal communication, nonverbal communication, and public speaking. We are seeking a creative, dynamic educator committed to excellence in teaching.

Qualifications: A Master’s degree in Communication Studies is required; a Ph.D. is preferred, along with teaching experience at the college level. Candidates who bring diverse cultural experience and who are especially qualified to mentor and advise all members of our diverse student population are especially encouraged to apply. The State University of New York at New Paltz is an AA/EOE/ADA employer.
