Call for Applications 

Graduate student research awards, called the ECA Centennial Scholarships, will be distributed at the 2010 ECA Convention in Baltimore.  Initially implemented to honor the 100^th anniversary of the Eastern Communication Association, the awards will be given to one master's-level student and one doctoral-level student for conducting research related to unfinished thesis/dissertation projects in the field of Communication. 

Award Selection Criteria:

• Current student status in a graduate program in Communication
• Current membership in the Eastern Communication Association 

Application Materials:  Submit the following for full consideration 

• Summary of unfinished master's thesis or doctoral dissertation project for which the scholarship is sought, not to exceed four pages or 1500 words in length
• Current curriculum vita
• Letter of recommendation from student's research director or major professor
