AmazonSupply's Threat to Independent Distributors

AmazonSupply has been contracting with some independent distributors to be third-party sellers, which seems like a good business deal, Jack Bailey writes. However, he argues, Amazon is really a data company, and such agreements will eventually allow it to supplant independent distributors and work directly with manufacturers, according to Industrial Supply magazine.  Read more.
