 "Symptom Series: Momma ain't been right all day. Is it the morphine? Managi
 ng restlessness and delirium in hospice patients\n\nDate: Wednesday\, Octob
 er 24\, 2012\n\nTime: 8:30AM-9:30AM (ET)\n\nPresented by: Hunter E. Woodall
 \, MD- Hospice of the Upstate\, SC\n\nParticipants will be able to:\n1. Und
 erstand the definition and differential diagnosis of delirium\n2. Look for 
 reversible causes and use focused treatments\n3. Manage restlessness and de
 lirium\n4. Speak to families\n\nA 15 minute question and answer session wil
 l follow the 45 minute presentation.\n\nSite Registration: All you need to 
 participate is a phone or speaker phone. A site coordinator from each parti
 cipating agency must be registered using the form access by the link below.
  Materials such as the call instructions\, roster\, handouts\, and evaluati
 ons will be sent to each site coordinator prior to the audioconference. It 
 is the responsibility of each site coordinator to copy and distribute mater
 ials to the additional participants on the call. After the completion of th
 e audioconference\, the site coordinator is responsible for entering all pa
 rticipants on the on-line roster\, and for providing participants with the 
 on-line location for completing the evaluation for this course. Rosters and
  evaluations must be entered by Wednesday following the audioconference\, o
 r a $35 late fee will be charged.\n\nPayment Information: Registration is $
 45 per site ($90 for non-members) per phone and $10 per person per site ($1
 2 per person - non-members). Upon receipt of the roster and completed evalu
 ations from the site coordinator\, The Carolinas Center will bill each agen
 cy for the site fee and total participants and will send a certificate of c
 ompletion for all participants to the site coordinator. \n\nProcess to rece
 ive Member Pricing as an MCA Member: On the site coordinators registration 
 form list your agency name/MCA Member. For example: Hospice ABC/MCA Member.
  The Carolinas Center for Hospice and End of Life Care will verify membersh
 ip with MCA Staff.\n\nContinuing Education: The Carolinas Center for Hospic
 e and End of Life Care is an Approved Provider of continuing nursing educat
 ion by the North Carolina Nurses Association\, an accredited approver by th
 e American Nurses Credentialing Center&rsquo\;s Commission on Accreditation
 . 1.0 contact hours are available for nurses. This program is also approved
  for social workers through the South Carolina Board of Social Work Examine
 rs. 1.0 contact hours are available for all others. Certificates of complet
 ion will be mailed to each site coordinator after The Carolinas Center rece
 ives the roster and evaluations from your site coordinator.
