Gov. John Kasich said Monday he's told the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) to stop pursuing mistaken overpayments of government assistance that happened more than a decade ago, reversing a policy put in place late last year. He said ODJFS will revert to its current 10-year look-back period. The department had stretched it out to 25 years. The governor said people who have repaid the overpayments that occurred more than a decade ago will get refunds.
