Energy & Commerce Chair and Health Subcommittee Chairs Send Follow-up Letter to CMS on Sequester Cut to Cancer Drugs

7/1/13 Energy & Commerce Chairman Fred Upton (R-MI), health subcommittee Chairman Joe Pitts (R-PA) and Vice Chairman Michael Burgess, MD (R-TX) sent a letter to CMS Administrator Tavenner prior to last Friday's hearing on Medicare drug reimbursement reform.  The letter requests that the agency answer all questions posed in the April 19, 2013 letter that Rules Committee Chairman Pete Sessions (R-TX) and 123 House colleagues sent to CMS about applying the sequester cut to Part B drugs.  READ MORE
