Hose Safety Institute Advisory Council to meet in Baltimore on August 7

The Institute Advisory Council plans to meet in Baltimore, Maryland next week to continue to work on developing market-specific task groups. These task groups will be charged with the responsibility of addressing hose assembly safety issues. They will also identify opportunities to engage Institute members, as well as seeking out new opportunities.

As these market-specific task groups are in formation, NAHAD members will be invited to participate. The Council is already at work on two groups: Ultra High Pressure/Waterjet applications and United States Military purchases of hoses and hose assemblies. Additional information will be available in the October issue of the NAHAD News.
