Bill ReevesBAND-IT IDEX®, INC., is proud to announce Bill Reeves as their new global President. Armed with leadership experience from a variety of industries, Bill brings exhaustive customer focus from his years with Dell and Dow Chemical.

Bill joined BAND-IT in July of 2013 after multiple executive roles at Dow Chemical serving the building construction, pharmaceuticals, automotive and home furnishings industries. Prior to Dow, Bill spent six years at Dell Computers in a variety of Supply Chain and Operations leadership roles.

Now with BAND-IT, Bill is excited to continue its heritage of manufacturing high quality products with great customer service. Cumberland ValveSinger Equities, Inc. has acquired Cumberland Valve headquartered in Bridgeton, New Jersey.  Cumberland Valve, founded in 1980, specializes in industrial and hydraulic hose fabrication as well as valves and fittings supporting the diverse end markets of the greater Delaware Valley and southern New Jersey region. 

Cumberland Valve buildingTom Davis, a veteran of 24 years with the business, will continue as General Manager and operate with its present staff going to market under its current Cumberland Valve name.  The business will operate as a division of R W Connection, headquartered in Landisville, PA which has grown to 10 locations in the region and it’s first in New Jersey.  Tom Davis will report to Scott Priestner, VP and Northeast Regional Manager for Singer Equities.

Priestner said, “Tom Davis and his team have helped Bruce Riley build a solid business in the region and we are excited to have them join our RW Connection organization. We look forward to expanding the product lines, increasing the fabrication and testing services as well as inventory to expand our market share in the Philadelphia, Northern Delaware and southern New Jersey region.”

OPOP is pleased to announce the new high-volume crimping machine TUBOMATIC V350ES, ideal for crimping hydraulic hoses up to 3” six spirals and industrial hose up to 10". Designed in a horizontal position and with a low centre of gravity to allow easy machining of tubes, the force of 1000 tons is suitable for processing steel rods, insulators and lugs. The machine is complete with self-lubrication of moving components, silent pump, back limit switch, a protractor for orientator fittings and a particularly narrow crimping head for crimping pipe ends with large flanges or fittings at 90°.

V35OESAlso included in the standard equipment is the new electronic control ES4 with touch screen colour display with the possibility of many customizations, logo, barcode, webcam and the ability to achieve excellent performance and accuracy in work management.  It's simple and intuitive software allows even less experienced operators to acquire full mastery of the machine after a few uses. Optionally available: pressure controlled swaging; USB port for pen drive connection for data storage from ES4 to PC; data transfer with USB port or with Ethernet LAN port;  quality check-controlled diameter and combined pressure process; and multistep-ability to set up to five different diameters.

UltraCleanUltra Clean Technologies Corp. is pleased to announce the recent hire of Mark Raumaker, who will join the Ultra Clean sales team as the Regional Sales Manager for Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Colorado, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Within this role, Mark will be the direct manufacturer’s salesman responsible for increasing sales and customer service experience in the region. Raumaker’s previous employment with distributors such as Berendsen Fluid Power and MFCP/McCoy Sales provides him with a wealth of experience in sales at the distributor level which uniquely qualifies him to understand the needs of Ultra Clean Technologies’ customers in today’s market.

“We are excited to bring Mark on board as we look to grow our sales and service capabilities in the South-Central region of the United States,” says Steve Roath, National Sales Manager for Ultra Clean Technologies. “Mark is a perfect fit for the role and brings a lot to the table.”

Raumaker’s appointment comes near the end of another successful year for the company. “We have been working on expanding our product customizability throughout the year,” says Bruce Riley, CEO, “and we are excited about the prospects for 2014 as we launch new options for the Projectile Verification System (PVS) and the Clean Seal Capsules.” These new options include a new Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) integration for the PVS system and more color choices and private-labeling options for the Clean Seal Capsules. Product availability is expected in early 2014.


New 1195

In response to industry demand, Coxreels® is pleased to announce the entirely re-engineered fluid path on the 1195 Series reels. The 1195 Series now comes standard equipped with an in-line swivel and a remodeled low profile outlet riser offering superior full-flow characteristics and an improved operating pressure range.

The 1195 Series, featuring a sturdy one-piece, all welded “A” frame base for maximum stability and designed to handle 50 to 125 feet of 2” hose I.D for increased volume delivery applications, now has an in-line electroless nickel plated steel NPT swivel. The swivel is anchored to a new machined from solid billet aluminum bearing assembly ensuring swivel to axle concentricity, proper swivel alignment and improving seal life and integrity. The newly revamped 1195 Series also features a one-piece swept outlet riser eliminating machined flanges and o-ring flange seal; combined with the in-line swivel, the hose reel now offers maximum full-flow fluid path and increased operating PSI rating up to 1000 PSI.

Coxreels® also offers stainless steel fluid paths for demanding applications in corrosive and hygienic environments. The new style outlet riser has also been redesigned to accommodate various industry thread requirements such as NPT, BSP, and NST. The 1195 Series with the alternative “90 degree” electroless nickel plated steel NPT swivel is still offered and can be ordered by adding the suffix “-BUXX” to the end of the model number.
