NAHAD Member companies announce new branch locations, new employees and new acquisitions
Abbott Rubber Company, Inc. of Elk Grove Village, IL is pleased to announce the opening of its first branch operation in Belvidere, IL a suburb of Rockford, IL. The facility will become a full service operation producing Industrial and Hydraulic Hose Assemblies. Tom Hohf, a 15 year veteran of Abbott Rubber will become its branch manager when the branch opens on March 1. This marks Abbott’s reach to new markets in the Northern Illinois area. Also, Michelle Nielsen has joined the company in the newly created position as Marketing Administrator.

IR-G is pleased to announce the addition of two new team members. Troy “David” York, Jr. has joined IR-G as a Territory Sales Manager in their Cookeville, TN location. David has been in sales for well over a decade, and brings a broad background to IR-G. He is a certified Food Safety Manager and AIB certified.
Rick Williams has been added as a Territory Sales Manager in Clarksville, TN. Rick is an industrial products sales veteran with over 26 years of experience. Their experience and enthusiasm make them wonderful additions to the IR-G team.

MFC is proud to announce its recent acquisition of General Rubber Company. Through the acquisition, MFC has added Wisconsin based facilities in Milwaukee and Appleton. The addition of General Rubber will expand the product offering and experience that MFC has to offer and enables MFC to provide prompt service and delivery to customers in eastern Wisconsin. MFC now has six facilities across the Midwest to serve customers quickly.

Westflex Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of Pipe Technology, Inc., a Hawthorne, CA based fabrication and distribution company specializing in concrete pipe, hose, fittings, and accessories. Pipe Technology was founded in 1981 and is a major supplier to the concrete pumping industry.
The acquisition is the first ever for Westflex. “We wanted a foothold in the Los Angeles market and Pipe Tech offered us a solid foundation with strong growth potential. We are very excited to have this opportunity”, says Dixon LeGros, President.
Pipe Technology, a Westflex Inc., Co. will be managed by Brian Craig. Brian is currently employed by Western Hose & Gasket Co. another Westflex division. Brian brings with him over twenty years of experience servicing the concrete pumping industry.
