NAHAD's University of Industrial Distribution (UID) offers an annual four-day educational program focused on the unique needs of the industrial wholesale distribution industry. Students select their own half or full day courses each day, with classes focused on distribution management, territory sales, marketing, negotiation skills, inventory management, sales management, human resources, leadership, information technologies and many more.
Since 1994, UID has been known worldwide for excellence in education. Nearly 7,000 distribution and manufacturing professionals from around the globe have attended this program.
UID is offered each March and is sponsored by NAHAD and over 30 other leading industrial distribution professional associations, in cooperation with Purdue University's Department of Industrial Technology. Working together, these groups take great pride in providing a superior learning experience.
