2009 Winner: Best Adaptive Re-use or Brownfield Project

Located in Columbus' South Side Industrial Corridor, TechSouth brings affordable, flexible industrial space to organizations involved in warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, wholesaling, data and call centers. A change in use from an F2 to B, M & S2 along with the addition of loading docks, drive in ramps and storefronts allowed the 350,000 square foot building to be used as a mixed use structure with separate metering and services. Major site renovation, including abatement and demolition, and the refurbishment of interiors make this once unusable industrial complex a benefit to the community.
