The individual is responsible for editing video for various newscasts using Final Cut Pro editors under specific time constraints. Must record video from photographers in the field and make sure it is ready to air for the newscasts. Archive video in each newscast for file purposes, inform Producers of video status and must be able to handle multiple tasks at once, under deadline and in a close team-oriented environment. Good news judgment and knowledge of legal issues is necessary.
