This position is responsible for producing and presenting weather segments on regular newscasts and as needed in conjunction with other station programming. Duties for this position include providing views with information that is accurate, concise and interesting; participating in special programs as they relate in whole or in part to weather matters, participating in community activities which will enhance himself/herself and the station as an authoritative, interesting source of weather information. Minimum of three years on-air experience, a college degree in Meteorology; AMS seal preferred. Knowledge of Barons Doppler and WSI Producer is recommended.
