Mutli-Media Sales Manager
WFMY-TV, the Gannett-owned CBS affiliate in the Greensboro/High Point/Winston-Salem market, is looking for a Multimedia Sales Manager. This position is responsible for working alongside a high performance sales team to create and execute a strategy to deliver customer solutions through an integrated suite of products, including television, online, and mobile. We’re looking for an idea person to grow our existing business and develop new opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills and have a track record of performance in a competitive environment. The position reports to the Vice-President of Sales.
Responsibilities: • Grow existing local business with direct accounts and agency partners. • Develop new sources of revenue through innovative sales marketing opportunities. • Work collaboratively with sales management and account executives to maximize market performance. • Advance our multi-platform and digital selling efforts among local and regional accounts. • Deliver customer satisfaction and accountability to our customers. • Work closely with the News and Marketing Departments to develop and maximize the full potential of station projects. • Coach, mentor and assist in regular training of sales team, keying on new products and new techniques. • Deliver customer satisfaction and accountability to our customers. • Report on sales activity, ongoing forecasts and budgeting.
