News Editor – Part Time
WXII-TV
WXII, Hearst Television’s NBC affiliate has an opening for a PT News Editor. This position will cover news stories as assigned. Edit video and related sound recording for news and feature stories; operate electronic newsgathering equipment; edit video tape on ¾” and Beta video editing equipment; provide live coverage through operation of live microwave and SNG technology.
Experience Requirements: • Previous experience preferred
Qualifications Requirements: • Knowledge of current television production techniques • Familiarity with mass communications law and media responsibilities • Ability to communicate using film and video tape
