Digital Media Manager
WCTI-TV(ABC) and WFXI/WYDO(FOX)
WCTI-TV (ABC) and WFXI/WYDO (FOX), part of the Bonten Media Group, are seeking and experienced multi-platform journalist to serve as Digital Media Manager, managing all digital content operations. This individual will be responsible for creating and organizing unique, interesting and dynamic content for the stations' website, mobile website, apps and social media platforms. The Digital Media Manager reports directly to the News Director, but also works closely with other department heads - especially sales and marketing. Candidate will be responsible for working with our news crews, producers and anchors to assign and produce content every day.

Experience: The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of digital platforms (including HTML) as well as strong communication, writing and editorial skills. Bachelor's degree and two to three years of web or advanced computer skills are preferred. This position would be a good stepping stone for an experienced news producer to start earning his or her management stripes.
Requirements: This individual works in conjunction with the News Director and Assistant News Director to set policies and protocols to ensure the stations' various digital platforms are continually updated. Accomplished writing and editing skills are necessary as well as an understanding of current issues and events, both local and national.
