News Producer
Individual must be creative and energetic, and must have great editorial judgment. Must have strong writing skills. Must be a leader in the newsroom and help oversee the team that assembles the very best newscast in the market. Work with Executive Producer, Managing Editor, and Digital Journalists to insure news product is credible, timely, and presented in an innovative style. Must be willing to take chances and try new things. Must be able to write copy and create graphics that capture the viewer’s attention.
Must possess a minimum of 2 years television news writing and producing experience. College degree in journalism or equivalent. iNews and Avid experience preferred. Must possess excellent news judgment and knowledge of the Tampa Bay area. Dependability, strong writing skills and accuracy are crucial.
