National Account Manager

WCNC-TV, the Charlotte NBC affiliate, and Gannett have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, highly organized, detail oriented National Account Manager. This position is responsible for processing and servicing National sales orders, including inputting and revisions. Providing clerical and administrative support to the National Sales Manager and National Sales Rep firm. Candidate should be dependable, organized and professional. Capable of multi-tasking and problem solving.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Answers telephone calls from National Rep firm Sales executives and clients. Provides back up phone support for National Sales Manager. Provides back up support for National Sales Assistant (WCNC- NBC Charlotte) Checks daily logs and reconciles national sales orders with sales Reps and accounting department. Research discrepancies for advertisers to clear for payment Have cordial telephone etiquette to develop relationships. Have working knowledge of Medialine (National Rep firm system) for inputting and revising orders.

Requirements: REQUIREMENTS High School graduation or equivalent; some college preferred. One to two years business experience with significant exposure to assisting clients or customers in a sales environment. Broadcast experience is a plus. Strong PC skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), good presentation skills, communication skills and organizational skills; problem solving abilities, multi-task oriented, excellent follow-through skills, and very detailed oriented. Sense of “urgency in fast - paced position Basic office equipment, General knowledge of sales concepts and sales software also a benefit.
