 News 13 values visual and compelling storytelling, as well as ethical and balanced reporting. We are looking for an aggressive investigative reporter with a proven track record. The right candidate will be able to successfully organize, research, write, and produce original stories for multiple platforms. Successful applicants must be able to hold public officials accountable and root out wrongdoing, while being respectful and professional. You must have strong ethics and a working knowledge of the law. We're looking for someone with sharp news judgment and the ability to work well independently and with others. Strong writing and investigating skills are necessary. You will have to develop story ideas and cultivate contacts. A positive attitude is a must!

 We want to improve upon our brand of tracking government spending, holding people accountable, and pushing for action and solutions. You must have experience with public records searches and computer assisted reporting.
