WFMY-TV/Gannett, the CBS affiliate in Greensboro, NC is looking for a 
creative, enterprising Photographer to join our news team. This is a career 
opportunity for a visual storyteller. We offer a creative and challenging 
environment, and are looking for a photographer with strong storytelling skills 
who thrives in our multi-platform digital world. We don’t chase car wrecks. We 
do stories that matter and we want photographers who know how to capture 
them.


The successful candidate will have excellent production and non-linear video 
editing skills for producing a superior visual experience for our viewers/users. 
We want a team player who embraces the tenets of professional journalism, 
connects with story subjects and has a special eye for images to create the very 
best, memorable, unique work for all of our platforms. Proficiency in a variety 
of technologies including but not limited to ENG delivery, ftp file transfer and 
delivery, mobile phone delivery, cell and livestream feeds, etc. Generating 
story ideas, content and social media engagement required. Must be able to work 
a flexible schedule. SNG operation, still photography and excellent writing 
skills a plus.
