Job Type: Full time

Compensation: $20,000-$24,000 Starting / year

Announcers are the Radio station’s voice and often the people with whom the public identifies by introducing programs and music, delivering news, sports, weather, commercial copy and community service with an emphasis on local involvement in the overall public presentation of the Radio stations.

Education Required: College Degree in related fields preferred or equivalent experience.

Experience Required: Must be able to demonstrate a quality on-air sound, creative production and an active interest in the local community.

Requirements include good computer skills and a working knowledge of digital editing tools for multimedia production, copywriting and information updates utilized in on-air, on-line and mobile applications. News and Sports writing skills are a definite plus.

Other Requirements: Must have a vehicle in good operating condition. We are located two miles north of city and weather conditions demand an enclosed vehicle. High Clearance vehicles like pick-up or SUV are best.
