POSITION: News Producer
HOURS: 2:30pm to 11:30pm (Mon - Fri)
LOCATION: WBTV, Raycom CBS in Charlotte, NC
TYPE: Full-Time
WBTV News is looking for an experienced News Producer to join our team of talented journalists. The successful candidate must be a strong leader who possesses excellent writing and time management skills, and a refined attention to detail. This position requires 2-5 years of producing experience with a track record of producing fast-paced, hard-hitting, impactful newscasts. This is not a show-stacking job. We have a strong On Your Side brand and our producers must exhibit excellent news judgment, control and skill in the booth, and the ability to creatively showcase news content to best serve the viewer. The position is also responsible for managing and producing material for our digital media platforms (wbtv.com, mobile and social media).
