WXII-TV, Hearst Television’s NBC affiliate in Winston Salem, NC, is hiring 2 part time Producers. This is an entry-level position where you will both assist producers with writing and other duties for daily newscasts as well as have the opportunity to produce newscasts.
Job Responsibilities: • Write Copy for daily newscasts • Assist producers and reporters with research • Communicate effectively with assignment editors, producers, reporters, photographers, editors production staff and news managers • Be available for evening, weekend and overnight shifts • Be able to fill-in as a newscast producer • Have an understanding of social media and be able to produce content on our digital platforms
Experience Requirements: • Four-Year College Degree • Internship in a television news department • Familiarity with social media
