Details:
WCTI-TV NewsChannel 12 (ABC) and WFXI/WYDO (FOX) are accepting applications for a Digital Sales Manager. The DSM will be responsible for supporting local sellers with existing clients and prospects. They will go on calls with the local sales staff to assist in the explanation of the layers of opportunity in digital, at the same time serving as valuable experience. Account Executives are required to work with DSM on digital business and DSM approves all proposals. They will assist the Account Executives in developing presentation and digital campaigns and will be responsible for developing new business locally and nationally through Katz Minneapolis. They will be the first response to all digital RFPs and will participate in weekly sales meeting to explain benefits to clients, pricing and champion digital opportunities. This person will report to the Director of Sales. |
Salary:
Competitive salary with digital revenue override and bonus with digital budget achievement. |
Experience:
It is preferred for this person to have prior success selling conceptual business solutions. Experience with media advertising, television, digital and mobile a huge plus but not required if you are the perfect candidate. Must pass sales assessment to be considered. |
Requirements:
The Digital Sales Manager will manage inventory and provide sellers with updated avails, digital solutions, sales pieces and digital trend data. They will also participate in weekly Marketing meetings and will work with the Digital Media Manager to grow impressions on our sites. They will be responsible for the digital revenue budget. Must be able to listen and ask questions with ease, develop strong relationships early and describe their selling style as consultative. Must possess a creative mind, enjoy selling and set high success goals. Must be a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and be able to work independently inside and outside of a sales office |
