Job Title: Assignment Desk Assistant
Job Description/Requisition Details: Must follow local, national and international news and monitor social media. Candidates must be aggressive and proficient in managing crews, breaking stories and daily news content. Assist reporters and producers on daily news stories. Must be able to clearly understand and relate the details and elements needed in daily news coverage. Need to establish and maintain contacts and sources for news coverage. Must have the ability to set up stories and gather information for breaking news.
Qualifications: Preferred:
College Degree and Newsroom experience
