WCTI NewsChannel 12 (ABC and supplying services to FOX Eastern Carolina pursuant to a Shared Services Agreement) has an opening for an experienced and charismatic morning and noon newscast anchor. The ideal candidate is attracted to and is at home in the competitive fast-paced early morning time period. We do more morning news than anyone else in Eastern North Carolina: two hours on ABC and a third hour on FOX. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live and work in beautiful Eastern North Carolina, including the beaches and other recreational opportunities of the Crystal Coast and the Outer Banks.

Experience:
Our producers will look to you to help craft our coverage, especially during breaking news and severe weather situations. |
Requirements:
The Morning Anchor must be driven to present newscasts that capture the breaking news of the overnight and early morning hours and relevant and timely content on our digital platforms. You must be a team player, help promote a collaborative work environment and be willing to make public appearances. |
