Director of Sales
WBT AM-FM and WLNK FM
Entercom Charlotte, a family-owned company, has a rare opening for a Director of Sales for WBT AM-FM and WLNK FM Radio in Charlotte, NC. The right candidate must possess a strong desire to win, lead by example, and have a track record of revenue success.
The Director of Sales must have a strong background in running successful stations. Candidate must be an exceptional sales trainer, be a creative thinker, and be able to recruit and hire the best in the business.
Primary responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the sales operation;
- Implementation and compliance with CRM tools
- Set rates through yield management tools
- Meet or exceed all revenue goals;
- Work as a coach, leader and problem solver.
- Understand the digital space and present a specific plan for its growth.
Minimum requirements:
- Candidate must be creative and possess an ability for generating local direct business;
- Four year college degree preferred;
- Three to five years’ experience in radio sales management, preferably in a cluster or multi-station group;
- Can demonstrate a proven track record out-performing the market as reflected in the Miller Kaplan Reporton a consistent basis.
