| Position Summary |
Principal fund-raising and program officer for the School with duties related to developing and implementing strategies for major-gift fundraising. Engaging in professional development while identifying prospective donors and maintaining relationships with top donors, prospects and Board of Visitors members, corporations and foundations. |
| Educational Requirements |
Master’s degree preferred; bachelor’s degree required with related development experience. |
| Qualifications and Experience |
Ten years experience in higher education advancement, including development experience in journalism mass communication; demonstrated success in fund-raising and a record of increasing responsibility and advancement; knowledge of university and school priorities; ability to build relationships, represent the school and articulate opportunities for support before diverse constituencies including alumni, donors and friends. |
