FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN- MECHANICAL- ADVANCED (Tower and Maintenance Technician) - UNC-TV seeks Research Triangle Park, NC area based, self-starter for maintenance of statewide network facilities/towers.

Must be able to climb 2000 foot towers and perform job functions, travel 3-4 nights per week. Requires valid drivers license. Work hours must be flexible, to include nights and weekends. Overtime may be required.

Minimum Requirements: Graduation from high school or equivalent. Communication tower climbing experience. Experience in the trade(s) areas related to the position's role may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Requirements: Journey-man level electrical/electronics experience; tower safety and rescue certification; first aid /CPR certification; commercial building construction/maintenance experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical/electronics and/or concrete skills.

Salary Range: $23,618 - $59,603. Proposed Hiring Range: $23,618 - $43,314.
