WDAV, a service of Davidson College, seeks a full-time Associate Content Director.
Primary responsibilities include assisting the general manager/content director with programming and strategy, developing special features, serving as an on-air host, scheduling music, producing programs, overseeing the promotion of content on air, making public appearances on behalf of the station, and directly supervising assigned full-time, part-time, and contract programming staff.
Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of classical music, demonstrated radio production skills, experience with music scheduling software and on-air fundraising, solid writing skills, and a pleasing vocal style.
Public radio experience is preferred.
