FOX 8 is looking for a take charge Director for the Morning News. They will responsible for preparing, directing and technical directing Morning live and taped telecasts, including newscasts, programs, specials, newsbreaks, production and promotion sessions. This person must regularly exercise discretion and judgment while determining the best results for newscast direction and final product. They are responsible for quality control of all newscasts, programs, sessions, etc. |

The position requires a good knowledge of television production techniques, newscast production techniques, field production, studio production and postproduction. The use of innovative and creative methods of news direction and camera techniques is essential. They must work effectively as a team leader to coordinate production personnel in the performance of their duties. A professional demeanor while directing news programs in the studio and under limited time constraints of live news and sporting events is a must. Knowledge of automation software preferred.

A college degree is required plus 2-3 years experience as a Director is required. |
